Great video clips
Date: August 9, 2009
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable, inexpensive Cons: slow recharge on flash
I bought this camera because my first Canon could only do about 12 seconds of video per shot and I wanted to take longer shots. I've been extremely happy with this camera - it takes great photos and video and is easy to use. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for fancy features I wouldn't use, and this camera has great features for an excellent price. Plus, I'm sure that once I take the time to read the manual I'll find all sorts of great additional features that will really maximize what it can do. I highly recommend this camera for someone who just wants to get great photos without a lot of fuss. My only complaint is that the flash takes a few seconds to recharge.

Fantastic Camera
Date: August 8, 2009
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, good battery life Cons: battery meter missing
This is a great little camera. I'm impressed with the photo quality and love how fast it powers up! The batteries seem to last a good long time I've taken hundreds of pictures and am only on my second set of batteries (I have not used the flash much). I didn't think I would use the macro feature much but when I learned how well it worked it became a really nice fun feature.
There are only two things that I wish were different. I'd like to see a battery meter on the LCD all the time and I would like it if the focus worked just a bit faster (it is fast but it can take a second or maybe even two).
