HP Win8 Upgrade Blowout!!!

As blowout, HP is giving a BPI ePrepaid Gift Mastercard worth P1,000 for select Win 8 upgradeable models to be able to cover for the end user�s online upgrade.

Win 8 upgrade online costs $14.99 (roughly P630). This offer by MS for online upgrade is valid until January 31,2013

Units with pre-installed Win 7 Home Basic and Win 7 Premium are upgradeable to Win 8 Pro.

Those who upgrade to Win 8 online actually downloads Win 8 Professional (SRP P8,000), which costs more than Win 8 Single Language.

End users themselves have to upgrade their unit online. They have to input their own personal data in MS site to upgrade.

Win 8 launch is Oct 26, thus download of Win 8 Pro only starts on Oct 26

They can use the gift card in several establishments. BPI card is valid until Dec 31, 2013.

b) To claim, the end-user must submit the following compulsory documents to the HP Claim Points:

a. Photocopy of End-user invoice showing the following:

i. Date of Purchase/Transaction

ii. SR name

iii. Invoice Number

iv. End-user name and Contact details (including email address)

v. Product model purchased with SERIAL #

vi. Reseller name and Branch Location

b. Original Cut-out Serial Number sticker

c. Photocopy of End-user�s Valid ID

c) In cases where in an authorized representative will claim on behalf of the end-user,

ADDITIONAL documents required are as follows:

a. Authorization Letter

b. Photocopy of Authorized Representative�s ID

d) Upon receipt of the requirements, GREATMINDS will validate the documents and release the item/s to

the end-user the same day (Subject to the availability of the bundle item; applicable to all claim points).

e) End-users can also claim by sending their requirements through mail to:

GREATMINDS will validate and release the items within 2-3 Business Days. Processing period will not start

unless end-user sends the complete set of documents to GREATMINDS. . Free item will be couriered directly

to them free of charge.

h) Exceptional approval from HP is needed should there be instances that deviates from the mechanics

stated above.

i) HP reserves the right to reject claims that do not fall within the mechanics.
